Bevel vs. convex in the hair

Below is pictures of hairs that has been cut with a scissor with a bevel edge (bottom picture) and one that has been cut with an convex edge. (Top picture) Recognice that the hair that has been cut with a bevel edge is squized and pressed together. it is broken apart – not sliced. The hair in the top picture that has been cut with an Convex edge has been sliced and there is much less damage to the hair. Also note that the bevel is photographed in x 1000 and the Convex in x 1500.
